A further important part of the gender equality measures of the Cluster involve the enhancement of compatibility of familiy and career and the support of parents.

Equality Measurements

The Cluster of Excellence "Inflammation at Interfaces"  proactively approaches female scientists for open vacancies  and strictly follows equality based appointment procedure.

Therefore the Cluster was able to win over some excellent young females scientists as professors:Prof. Dr. Ute Nöthlings (Epidemiology), Prof. Dr. Karina Reiß (Epithelial Protease Inhibitors), Prof. Dr. Susanne Sebens (Inflammation Associated Carcinogenesis), Prof. Dr. Almut Nebel (Genetics), Prof. Dr. Anika Wagner (Molecular Nutrition)
