Cluster Lecture

The Cluster Lecture as a novel seminar format was introduced in 2008. The aim of this event is not only to present and broach the issue of novel, trend-setting research in the field of international inflammation research but also as a additional chance especially for young scientist for networking with the guest speakers and other cluster members.

The Cluster lecture takes place every last tuesday of the month at 5 p.m in the Manor of the Research Center Borstel. Beside the 60 minute lecture the framework program of the Cluster Lecture also includes visite of the speaker to both host university and a  caterrred get together after the lecture for discussions and a chance for PhD students and young scientists to interact with leading international scientists in the field.  The Cluster lecture developed with more than 100 regular guests in a short period to an important meeting point for all Cluster scientists.
